A highly anticipated boutique property currently taking shape in the Centennial State, Benson Hotel and Faculty Club has scooped our latest Project of the Week title. This exciting scheme aims to raise the standard of accommodation available in Colorado’s third largest city, Aurora. Improving the Fitzsimons Innovation Community campus With a name that pays tribute to former University of Colorado president Bruce Benson, the Benson Hotel and Faculty Club development forms part of an ambitious vision for the future of the Fitzsimons Innovation Community campus. Currently under construction, the newbuild project’s being developed by AIMCO, with Tryba Architects leading the architectural design. The developer is hoping to enhance the campus, where thousands can now live, work and play, by introducing facilities that appeal to a diversity of needs.

Introduction of The Benson Hotel and Faculty Club
Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman, University of Colorado President Todd Saliman, and University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Chancellor and Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority (FRA) Chairman Donald M. Elliman, Jr. were among the community leaders attending an event to celebrate the Benson Hotel and Faculty Club, a new 106-room luxury hotel and event space under construction at the Fitzsimons Innovation Community.
