About Adrienne Stein
Adrienne Stein is an award winning American artist living and working in Pennsylvania and Colorado. She holds an MFA from Boston University and a BFA Magna Cum Laude, from Laguna College of Art & Design. Her paintings celebrate the natural world through bold, vibrant color. The lush magical environments she depicts blend reality and fantasy, expressed through a world of symbolic imagery. Adrienne is inspired by her travel experiences as well as the beauty of her garden surrounding the Pennsylvania home she shares with her husband, the artist Quang Ho and their son, Liam.
The Collection
"Inspired by the grand lily pond at the Denver Botanic Gardens, I created this piece to pay homage to one of my favorite places at my favorite time of day. The evening light at "golden hour" is so restful to my spirit. Since I knew that this painting would hang in a space associated with medical treatment, I wanted to create an image that evoked peace, healing, and restoration. This commission provided me the opportunity to do my best work on a large scale."
